Epstein, who <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2019\/07\/08\/jeffrey-epstein-friends-clinton-trump-dershowitz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">had ties<\/a> to politicians and celebrities, died in prison in August 2019 while awaiting his own trial for federal sex trafficking charges, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>In recent days, a picture allegedly showing the president and the disgraced financier together has been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo.php?fbid=4931070833589977&amp;set=a.893538734009894&amp;type=3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">circulating<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/windowtothewalt\/status\/1463274130208223234\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">widely online<\/a>. In the image, Biden dons a dark-colored suit and a striped tie, while Epstein wears a white quarter zip. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2019\/07\/12\/fact-check-did-trump-and-jeffrey-epstein-pose-for-a-picture-with-a-young-ivanka\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did Trump And Jeffrey Epstein Pose For A Picture With A Young Ivanka?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The image, however, is not a genuine picture of the two together. A photo of Biden was digitally combined with a photo of Epstein to make it look like the men posed together.<\/p>\n<p>In the photo featuring Epstein, he actually stands next to a man wearing a brown suit, as seen in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/news\/2019\/08\/jeffrey-epstein-will-estate-raises-more-questions-than-it-answers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2019 Vanity Fair article<\/a>&nbsp;that credits photographer Patrick McMullan with taking it at a 2005 film release. While the photo\u2019s caption in the Vanity Fair article does not name the man next to Epstein, he is identified in an <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20140719045325\/http:\/\/www.patrickmcmullan.com\/site\/event_detail.aspx?eid=19675\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">archived version<\/a> of McMullan\u2019s website as Pepe Fanjul, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/joselambiet\/2012\/01\/06\/palm-beach-sugar-barons-accused-in-wikileaks-cables-of-trying-to-sabotage-u-s-trade-deal\/?sh=5834333a6373\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cuban-born sugar baron<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the image of Biden smiling comes from a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefriedlandergroup.com\/\/_sub\/_friedlander_09\/uploads\/content\/U.S._Senator_Joseph_R._Biden__Jr._001.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">separate photo<\/a> that was published by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefriedlandergroup.com\/about-us.1-0-1-.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Friedlander Group<\/a>.
