Sounds like a good policy, doesn\u2019t it? (Andy Ngo)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Twitter says it will \u201ctake into consideration whether the image is publicly available and\/or is being covered by journalists\u2014or if a particular image and the accompanying Tweet text adds value to the public discourse\u2014is being shared in public interest or is relevant to the community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is another way of saying that Twitter has the power, therefore Twitter will decide on the exceptions. That\u2019s the number-one privilege of those who have power: writing the rules, and then deciding who\u2019s going to be exempt from them.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Twitter also says that its private information policy contains \u201cexceptions in order to enable robust reporting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Presumably those exceptions don\u2019t apply to Project Veritas, an organization that does more robust reporting than the <em>New York Times&nbsp;<\/em>and&nbsp;<em>Washington Post&nbsp;<\/em>combined, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2021\/02\/11\/twitter-locks-the-accounts-of-james-okeefe-and-project-veritas\/\">and&nbsp;<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2021\/02\/11\/twitter-locks-the-accounts-of-james-okeefe-and-project-veritas\/\">which Twitter has permanently banned<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Will journalists who report on progressive organizations, like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/25\/planned-parenthood-video-journalist-attorneys-kamala-harris-colluded-abortion-industry\/\">David Deleiden<\/a>, the undercover journalist who exposed Planned Parenthood, be able to promote their work on Twitter in the future?<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_14583572\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"35\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/GettyImages-882518794.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14583572\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/GettyImages-882518794.jpg\" alt=\"DALLAS, TX - NOVEMBER 29: Conservative media activist James O&#039;Keefe speaks at an event hosted by the Southern Methodist University chapter of Young Americans for Freedom, a campus organization started by William F. House\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>It also clearly didn\u2019t apply to the&nbsp;<em>New York Post\u2019s&nbsp;<\/em>Hunter Biden story, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2020\/10\/15\/twitter-censors-second-new-york-post-bombshell-story-about-hunter-biden\/\">Twitter blocked from its platform<\/a>&nbsp;<em>before&nbsp;<\/em>this new policy against sharing private photos, part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2020\/09\/22\/deleted-bombshell-book-exposing-big-tech-released-today\/\">Big Tech\u2019s flagrant, industry-wide effort to influence the outcome of the 2020 election<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Without evidence, Twitter makes the sweeping claim that \u201cthe misuse of media to harass, intimidate, and reveal the identities of private individuals\u2026 disproportionately impacts women, activists, dissidents, and members of minority communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is true that the left doesn\u2019t need Twitter to dox people. They have the corporate media for that.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>CNN is infamous for this: the network <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2018\/02\/21\/woman-receives-abuse-violent-threats-after-cnn-tracks-down-publicly-shames-her-for-sharing-russian-event-on-facebook\/\">published the name of a Florida grandmother<\/a> for the crime of participating in a pro-Trump Facebook page, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2017\/07\/04\/cnnblackmail-1-twitter-trend-as-network-threatens-to-reveal-reddit-users-identity\/\">threatened to unmask an anonymous Reddit user<\/a>&nbsp;for making fun of its reporters.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Daily Beast,&nbsp;<\/em>in collusion with Facebook, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tech\/2019\/06\/02\/daily-beast-says-facebook-helped-them-dox-trump-supporter\/\">doxed a black forklift driver<\/a> from New York because he edited a video to make fun of Nancy Pelosi.<\/p>\n<p>The media is well aware of its power to intimidate, which is why they try to use it against juries to sway the outcomes of trials.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>NBC\u2019s alleged attempt to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/the-media\/2021\/12\/01\/watch-kenosha-bodycam-appears-to-show-nbc-reporter-admit-to-following-jury-bus\/\">identify jurors in the Rittenhouse trial<\/a> isn\u2019t the first time this has happened. In 2018, CNN and six other establishment broadcasters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/the-media\/2018\/08\/18\/cnn-accused-intimidating-paul-manafort-jury\/\">fought tooth and nail<\/a> to reveal the names and addresses of jurors in the trial of Paul Manafort.<\/p>\n<p>Presumably, Twitter isn\u2019t going to start banning articles from the establishment media that dox private citizens.
