She also claimed that Trump had suggested that people \u201cinject bleach\u201d as a way to treat the coronavirus. Psaki has used this claim before \u2014 which is false, as Breitbart News has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/10\/15\/fact-check-joe-biden-repeats-false-bleach-in-your-arm-claim\/\">demonstrated<\/a> on several previous occasions, when Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/09\/24\/joe-biden-on-mental-fitness-i-am-not-the-guy-who-said-to-inject-bleach-in-your-arm\/\">used<\/a> the same false claim on the campaign trail:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote readability=\"22.77626459144\">\n<p>Trump never told anyone to inject bleach, much less in their arm. Nor did he tell anyone to injest bleach \u2014 another common Democratic Party talking point. On Thursday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) claimed \u2014 falsely \u2014 that Trump told people to \u201cswallow Clorox.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As Breitbart News has noted, and as the transcripts of White House press briefings confirm, Trump was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/health\/2020\/09\/14\/nbc-news-highlights-uv-light-sanitizing-against-coronavirus\/\">discussing<\/a> the future use of experimental ultraviolet light technology to disinfect surfaces and remove the coronavirus. The UV technology is already being used to disinfect offices and other spaces. Trump wondered openly whether it might be possible to \u201cinject\u201d UV light into the body \u2014 a technology that is currently in development, and which was reported in the media just days before.<\/p>\n<p>When he was asked a follow-up question about whether he thought disinfectant should be \u201cinjected into a person,\u201d Trump said no: \u201cIt wouldn\u2019t be through injection. We\u2019re talking about through almost a cleaning, sterilization of an area.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The transcript of Trump\u2019s original remarks, clearly disproving Psaki\u2019s false claim, are at the <a href=\"https:\/\/trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov\/briefings-statements\/remarks-president-trump-vice-president-pence-members-coronavirus-task-force-press-briefing-31\/\">White House archive site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Psaki also claimed that Biden was doing a better job because he was distributing vaccines, though she did not note that the vaccines were developed under President Trump\u2019s Operation Warp Speed, at a time when Biden was skeptical of the vaccine.<\/p>\n<p><em>Joel B.
