Josh Hawley (R-MO) told Breitbart News a victory in&nbsp;<em>Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/em>&nbsp;might solve the \u201cgreatest injustice in our lifetimes\u201d that is&nbsp;<em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Hawley \u2014 a law former clerk to Supreme Court Justice John Roberts and considered a top Constitutional lawyer \u2014 said that after hearing the first day of oral arguments that&nbsp;<em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> is \u201cvery much in play.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Hawley, who was also a former Missouri attorney general, explained that many Supreme Court justices asked \u201cfoundational questions\u201d about&nbsp;<em>Roe<\/em>. (AP Photo\/Andrew Harnik)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Hawley explained, \u201cIt would mean the reaching of a landmark goal that I mean, frankly, I have to say just personally, that <em>Roe<\/em>&nbsp;is one of the reasons that the major reason that I went into politics, and I think that\u2019s true for many, many other people. That\u2019s one of the major reasons I was interested in the law. And this is the greatest injustice of our lifetimes.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The Missouri populist described this potential ruling as \u201cseismic\u201d and could actually turn \u201cdown the heat\u201d on the abortion question because it would allow states to make their own laws restricting abortions.<\/p>\n<p>I think you\u2019d see real deliberation for the first time in 50 years, because the public would actually get to weigh in and their voices would actually matter,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Hawley said, \u201cI just have to say that someone who believes that that row is one of the worst decisions ever handed down by the Supreme Court, I think it would be a monumental moral landmark and reverse a great injustice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd after listening to the argument, I believe this could be the case that finally reverses the great injustice of Roe.
