Pete Ricketts (R) called for the end of vaccine mandates.<\/p>\n<p>Ricketts described vaccine mandates as \u201chorrible policy\u201d and questioned their legality.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThese vaccine mandates are horrible policy,\u201d Ricketts stated. \u201cAs we\u2019re seeing in the courts, they\u2019re very questionable when it comes to the lawful ability of the administration to do this through executive order. But just from a standpoint of impacts, you know, we\u2019re talking about vaccine mandates for organizations that accept CMS dollars that would hugely impact our rural hospitals. CEOs of these hospitals tell me they\u2019d have to discontinue services like delivering babies because they wouldn\u2019t have enough workers. So, you have got to weigh the cost balance on this, and the administration has not. They\u2019re totally out of touch with what is going on in the middle of the country.
