These people are so mad that anyone would tell them what to do,\u201d she said. \u201cThey\u2019re so outraged that anyone would dare to tell them to do something safe to keep other people safe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She then shifted and began reading off a paper on her desk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHere\u2019s the thing: If they lived in Austria, they have a vaccine mandate for the whole population. That\u2019s strict!\u201d she said. \u201cItaly, real strict. Those mayors in Italy got on TV and screamed at people, said, \u2018You better take your butt home!\u2019 They\u2019ll stop you in the street when they were on lockdown,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p>Reid then ticked off highly restrictive vaccination mandates enacted in other nations in Europe, Asia, and Africa, including vaccination passports:<\/p>\n<p><em>Greece makes vaccines mandatory for everyone 60 or older, with fines for not complying. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Ghana is making COVID-19 vaccines mandatory for targeted groups.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Singapore is going to stop covering the medical bills of the unvaccinated COVID-19 patients. No more money. You don\u2019t get your treatment paid for. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Italy is making health passes mandatory. Health passes! You have to walk around with [a] little green pass. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Reid seemed to lament the fact that such measures could not be enacted by U.S. lawmakers. \u201cThey have it so easy in the United States,\u201d she said, \u201cbecause this country politically can\u2019t do those kinds of mandates. That\u2019s why we\u2019re 58th in terms of vaccinations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moments earlier one of her panelists, former U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill, said that no one who has received the COVID-19 vaccination should complain of its side effects <em>ex post facto<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Reid introduced the segment by trashing Fox News hosts who complain about mask and vaccination mandates. \u201cThey have no problem bumping off their own supporters,\u201d Reid said. \u201cThey don\u2019t care who dies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think there needs to be a rule,\u201d McCaskill replied. \u201cIt\u2019s a pretty basic rule: You can\u2019t trash the vaccine if you\u2019ve taken it \u2014 end of discussion. Although the president introduced the mandate through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/oshas-covid-vaccine-mandate-for-private-employers\">an OSHA regulation<\/a>, Labor Secretary Marty Walsh insisted, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/this-isnt-a-mandate-biden-admin-says-of-new-osha-covid-19-mandate\">This is not a mandate<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Gregory F.
