But he did not,\u201d read the original tweet.<\/p>\n<p>The actor also retweeted an article headlined, \u201cAlec Baldwin Was Told Prop Gun Was Safe Before Fatal Shooting, Affidavit Says.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>New Mexico authorities held a news conference and released a warrant that laid out what occurred.&nbsp;\u201cDave Halls allegedly told investigators that typically he would \u2018check the barrel for obstructions,\u2019 and then armorer Hannah Reed-Gutierrez \u2018opens the hatch and spins the drum,\u2019 before he yells out \u2018cold gun\u2019 on set. But before the tragic Oct. 21 shooting, Hall said he \u2018could only remember seeing three rounds\u2019 of dummy bullets in the chamber,\u201d The Daily Beast&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/alec-baldwins-bullet-not-the-only-live-round-found-on-rust-set-santa-fe-nm-sheriff-adan-mendoza-says\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe advised he should have checked all of them, but didn\u2019t, and couldn\u2019t recall if she spun the drum,\u201d the warrant said, according to the Beast. \u201cAfter the shooting, Halls said they opened up the gun and found four dummy rounds and one spent live round.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe advised he could only remember seeing at least four dummy casings with the hole in the side, and one without the hole,\u2019 the warrant says. \u2018He advised this round did not have the \u2018cap\u2019 on it and was just the casing. David advised the incident was not a deliberate act.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Baldwin also shared a lengthy string of social media posts written by a crew member of the Western movie, who blasts co-workers for describing the New Mexico set as \u201cchaotic and unsafe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRead this,\u201d Baldwin wrote about the multiple Instagram posts penned by Terese Magpale Davis, who worked in the wardrobe department for the movie.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am so sick of this narrative,\u201d Davis wrote. \u201cI worked on this movie. The story being spun of us being overworked and surrounded by unsafe, chaotic conditions is bull***t. We never worked more than a 12.5 hour shoot day. That was once,\u201d Davis wrote. \u201cMost days were under 12. The day Halyna died we had come off of a 12 hour turnaround after an 11 hour shoot day.
