At the time, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/the-media\/2021\/11\/18\/nbc-news-confirms-rittenhouse-trial-incident-does-not-deny-freelancer-was-told-to-follow-jury\/\">NBC did not deny<\/a>&nbsp;Morrison was told to follow the jury. The network said in a statement:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote readability=\"12\">\n<p>Last night, a freelancer received a traffic citation. While the traffic violation took place near the jury van, the freelancer never contacted or intended to contact the jurors during deliberations, and never photographed or intended to photograph them.<\/p>\n<p>We regret the incident and will fully cooperate with the authorities on any investigation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In the bodycam footage released this week, the man, believed to be Morrison, identified himself as an NBC producer at the time of the stop, saying he was \u201ctrying to do what they told me to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI work for NBC. [I\u2019m a] producer,\u201d the man said in the video.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWere you following a vehicle?\u201d the police officer asked.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI was trying to see \u2026 I was being called by New York, maybe you need to follow up.., I was trying to do what they told me to do,\u201d responded the man.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNew York told you to follow a vehicle?\u201d the officer asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes,\u201d the man replied.<\/p>\n<p>When the officer asked how New York knew about the vehicle, the man replied that it was \u201cdiscrete\u201d and he was \u201cjust trying to find a location.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The man then called his New York office and handed the phone over to the officer, who then spoke to a woman identifying herself as <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/nbc-producer-rittenhouse-jury-bus-nukes-social-media\">NBC booking producer Irene Byon<\/a>. Upon being questioned, Byon&nbsp;struggled to give a coherent answer, telling the officer the network was just trying to see where \u201ckey players in the trial may be at.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"29\">\n<p>We were just trying to respectfully, um, just trying to see if it\u2019s, um, if it\u2019s possible to, um, To find any leads about, um, about the case. And so we were, we, uh, we were just keeping our distance, um, just to see like where, um, people involved in the trial are positioned. By no means, where are we trying to get in contact with any of the jury members in the car, we just were, him, trying to see like where, um, key players in the trial may be at.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The officer then advised Irene Byon to \u201crefrain from doing that,\u201d warning that it puts people in \u201cdangerous positions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is huge.
