The exact cause of James\u2019s removal was not made known. According to current NBA mandates, a player must isolate for ten days if they test positive for the coronavirus.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAfter that period, a player must undergo a cardiac screening and reconditioning in order to be cleared to return to the court,\u201d noted ESPN. \u201cA player who tests positive could also clear protocol by returning two negative PCR tests within a 24-hour period.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"10.298804780876\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">LeBron James \u2014 who the Lakers are listing in health and safety protocols \u2014 is expected to miss several games, source tells ESPN. Cox\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Lakers coach Frank Vogel said Talen Horton-Tucker will start in James\u2019s place until his star player returns.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cObviously it\u2019s a huge loss,\u201d Vogel said prior to Tuesday\u2019s game. \u201cIt\u2019s disappointing. We just want the best for him right now. That\u2019s where our thoughts are. And we have a next-man-up mindset.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHopefully this is something that\u2019s short term,\u201d Vogel added. \u201cWe\u2019ll see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vogel said he arranged for James to travel from Sacramento back to Los Angeles as of Tuesday.
