Brooks\u2019 lawyer has moved to stop defending him in other felony cases, citing conflicts of interest after his client allegedly plowed an SUV into crowds of people attending the Christmas parade.<\/p>\n<p>Filed two days after the attack, the motion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/543385800\/Joseph-Domask-Motion-to-Withdraw#fullscreen&amp;from_embed\">claims<\/a> that defense attorney Joseph Domask of Milwaukee County had \u201cdirect and indirect\u201d relationships with \u201cindividuals, families, groups, organizations and the communities\u201d affected by the massacre, creating a conflict of interest:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote readability=\"14\">\n<p>Relationships and familiarities, both direct and indirect, between Attorney Domask and members of Domask Law Office and individuals, families, groups, organizations and the communities affected by incidents arising on November 21, 2021 in the Waukesha County Holiday Parade have created a concurrent conflict of interest in Attorney Domask\u2019s representation of Mr. Brooks in this case.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Shortly after the attack, Domask told Fox News Digital that the Waukesha community was \u201cdear\u201d to his heart while saying he was representing Brooks \u201cat the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<div id=\"attachment_18866354\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"37\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/parade-route-waukesha-wi-november-21-21-ap-photo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18866354\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/parade-route-waukesha-wi-november-21-21-ap-photo.jpg\" alt=\"Police tape cordons off a street in Waukesha, Wis., after an SUV plowed into a Christmas parade hitting multiple people Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021. (AP Photo\/Jeffrey Phelps)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cOur hearts are broken for all families affected by the tragedy at the Waukesha Parade,\u201d Domask <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/waukesha-suspect-darrell-brooks-lawyer-moves-to-withdraw?cmpid=fb_fnc\">said<\/a>. \u201cThe Waukesha community is dear to our hearts here, and we joined in their sorrow. And we keep all those affected by this incident in our thoughts and prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One day later, he filed the motion to withdraw from two open cases in Milwaukee, including \u201cone for allegedly shooting at and missing his nephew and another for driving his red Ford SUV over the mother of his child,\u201d according to Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>For the massacre, Brooks is currently being represented by two public defenders, Jeremy Perri and Anna Kees. Kees is an&nbsp;Assistant State Public Defender, according to her&nbsp;LinkedIn <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/annakees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">profile<\/a>, while Perri has been a licensed public <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avvo.com\/attorneys\/53188-wi-jeremy-perri-1530240.html\" rel=\"nofollow\">defender<\/a> for 19 years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">On the afternoon of Sunday, November 21, suspect Darrell E. Brooks Jr. allegedly plowed an SUV into crowds of people attending the Waukesha Christmas parade. According to authorities, Brooks\u2019 alleged act&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/crime\/2021\/11\/23\/waukesha-attack-suspect-darrell-brooks-charged-bail-set-at-5-million\/\">was<\/a>&nbsp;\u201cintentional\u201d&nbsp;and occurred shortly after a domestic disturbance incident. Police were not in pursuit of the suspect at the time of the alleged attack, contrary to early reports. He has since been charged with six counts of intentional homicide, including one eight-year-old boy, with a bail set for $5 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">The media and authorities still have not provided a motive detailing why Darrell E. Brooks, who&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/darrell-brooks-facebook-white-people-violence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">expressed<\/a>&nbsp;views sympathetic to Black Lives Matter on social media and who&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/22\/waukesha-suspect-darrell-brooks-jr-rap-songs-ranting-trump-white-supremacy\/\">penned<\/a>&nbsp;an anti-Trump rap song, allegedly carried out the attack that killed six people while wounding 62 others.
