Three days after this report, Chris Cuomo texted DeRosa, \u201cI have a lead on the wedding girl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other messages indicated Chris Cuomo\u2019s willingness to help with his brother\u2019s response and preparation on the sexual harassment allegations. \u201cPlease let me help with the prep,\u201d Cuomo told DeRosa in one text.<\/p>\n<p>In another text, Chris Cuomo sent DeRosa a fully written statement for the governor to use publicly:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote readability=\"9\">\n<p>I will not resign, I cannot resign. I understand the political pressure I understand the stakes of political warfare, and that\u2019s what this is\u2026 And I understand the conformity that can be forced by cancel culture.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>DeRosa texted Cuomo, \u201cRumor going around from politico 1-2 more ppl coming out tomorrow. Can u check your sources?\u201d Cuomo replied with, \u201cOn it,\u201d then followed up with, \u201cNo one has heard that yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cuomo and DeRosa also&nbsp;<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/11\/29\/cnn-host-chris-cuomo-used-sources-to-find-info-on-andrew-cuomo-accusers-records.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">discussed<\/a>&nbsp;an investigative story from&nbsp;<em>New Yorker<\/em>&nbsp;reporter Ronan Farrow four days before it was published on March 18. \u201cIf If ronan has nothing better than boylan thats a great sign,\u201d Chris Cuomo texted DeRosa on March 14.<\/p>\n<p>Lindsey Boylan was a former aide to the governor who alleged that Andrew Cuomo said to her, \u201cLet\u2019s play strip poker\u201d while on a private plane.<\/p>\n<p>Amid these text messages, CNN parent company Warner Media denied the former governor used his brother\u2019s prepared remarks. \u201cThe claim that Chris dictated his brother\u2019s statements is false,\u201d a Warner Media spokesperson&nbsp;<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/chris-cuomo-texted-brothers-top-aide-lead-wedding-girl-cnbc-2021-11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a>&nbsp;<em>Business Insider<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>However, CNN said they would be doing a \u201cthorough review and consideration\u201d of the recently revealed documents.<\/p>\n<p>CNN spokesperson Matt Dornic said:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"7\">\n<p>The thousands of pages of additional transcripts and exhibits that were released today by the NY Attorney General deserve a thorough review and consideration. We will be having conversations and seeking additional clarity about their significance as they relate to CNN over the next several days.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Former Gov. Cuomo resigned from office in August after Attorney General James issued a report on his alleged misconduct.
