They lied on a congressional subpoena.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>He continued, \u201cThey used sources for that story. They said that I was there on January 5th at a meeting, and they got that from Bob Woodward\u2019s book. Well, that was a&nbsp; lie. They said they got it from the&nbsp;<i>Washington Post<\/i>. That too was a lie. Bottom line is, I wasn\u2019t in Washington, DC, on January 5th. I was in New York City, so they lied on a congressional subpoena.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/january6th.house.gov\/sites\/democrats.january6th.house.gov\/files\/20211108%20Kerik.pdf\">subpoena<\/a> sent to Kerik alleges that the House committee\u2019s \u201cinvestigation\u201d has \u201crevealed credible eivdence of your involvement in the events within the scope of the Select Committee\u2019s inquiry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The House committee ostensibly investigating January 6 <a href=\"https:\/\/january6th.house.gov\/about\/membership\">includes<\/a> seven Democrats and two Republicans, Reps. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL).
