Perhaps it\u2019s because we talk different languages. You think it\u2019s ok to call people names and make cartoons about them, we think it\u2019s kinda \u2026 maybe wanna not do that, but that might be crazy of me to say. What is your take on all of this?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe called \u2014 Trump called it the China virus, remember that? And the Kung Flu. And Joe Biden basically pointed out that President Trump has a record of \u2018hysterical xenophobia and fearmongering.\u2019 DUH. That\u2019s the difference,\u201d cohost Joy Behar added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a difference, but I don\u2019t know that the travel ban makes sense,\u201d Hostin objected. \u201cI don\u2019t know that it\u2019s that different because he\u2019s banning people from African countries and we know that this variant is not only in South Africa, and South Africa has some of the world\u2019s best scientists and epidemiologists and I think that\u2019s why they found the variant there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd they were good enough to say they had it,\u201d Behar added, noting that honesty and transparency were of the utmost importance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis variant was found in Israel, it was found in Belgium, it was found in other European countries, why aren\u2019t there bans from those countries? Why just Africa?
