In the original, Stallone is wearing an unadorned black t-shirt.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Social media users have been sharing an image of Stallone allegedly wearing a pro-Trump shirt that reads, \u201cI\u2019d love a mean tweet and 1.79 gas right now.\u201d The shirt features an image of former President Donald Trump, who was an active Twitter user before he was <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.twitter.com\/en_us\/topics\/company\/2020\/suspension\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">permanently suspended<\/a> from the platform in January 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Through a reverse image search, however, Check Your Fact found the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutterstock.com\/editorial\/image-editorial\/sylvester-stallone-out-and-about-los-angeles-usa-28-jun-2018-9730718t\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">image<\/a> is altered and predates Trump\u2019s failed bid for reelection in 2020. The original can be found on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutterstock.com\/editorial\/image-editorial\/sylvester-stallone-out-and-about-los-angeles-usa-28-jun-2018-9730718t\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Shutterstock<\/a>, where it shows Stalone wearing an unadorned black t-shirt. \u201cSylvester Stallone out and about, Los Angeles, USA,\u201d reads the image\u2019s caption, which is dated June 28, 2018. Other images found on Shutterstock from the same day show <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutterstock.com\/editorial\/image-editorial\/sylvester-stallone-out-and-about-los-angeles-usa-28-jun-2018-9730718ad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">different<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shutterstock.com\/editorial\/image-editorial\/sylvester-stallone-out-and-about-los-angeles-usa-28-jun-2018-9730718u\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">angles<\/a> of Stallone wearing the same shirt, none of which feature the message about Trump. <span class=\"title\">&nbsp;<strong><a title=\"A \u2018KEEP AMERICA TRUMPLESS\u2019 SHIRT?\" href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/09\/15\/fact-check-chris-evans-keep-america-trumpless-shirt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Image Show Chris Evans Wearing A \u2018Keep America Trumpless\u2019 Shirt?)<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>While there is no evidence Stallone wore such a shirt, he has made comments about Trump in the past. In a 2016 interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2016\/film\/news\/sylvester-stallone-donald-trump-1201675595\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Variety<\/a>, he said he loved Trump but questioned whether he would be a good president. Later, in a 2019 interview with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zo1drA77Mz0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">outlet,<\/a> he said he did not vote in the 2016 election. He has visited Mar-a-Lago, Trump\u2019s private club in Palm Beach, Florida, on at least two occasions, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/politics\/sylvester-stallone-didnt-join-mar-a-lago\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">People Magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time a political message has been photoshopped onto a famous actor\u2019s shirt.
