Abolfazl Shekarchi, spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran\u2019s armed forces, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/middle-east\/iran-news\/iranian-brig-gen-urges-destruction-of-israel-prior-to-nuke-talks-687248\">told<\/a> the Iranian Students News Agency. \u201cWe want to destroy Zionism in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Jerusalem Post added:<\/p>\n<p><em>The Iranian general also blasted Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates for normalizing diplomatic relations with Israel, terming the diplomacy \u201cintolerable\u201d for Iran\u2019s clerical regime. \u201cSaudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE and other countries considered as Muslims, for us they part of the Zionist regime and this is very important,\u201d said Shekarchi.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The comments from Iran\u2019s military come as the Biden administration and other nations are set to resume nuclear talks in what is now the seventh-round of talks to take place.<\/p>\n<p>Politico <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2021\/11\/27\/iran-nuclear-deal-talks-fissures-523408\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u2026the mood among negotiators is somber if not outright gloomy, and the rhetoric has gone from tough to strident. As Iran advanced its nuclear program prior to the 2015 deal, much of the same brinkmanship was at play, including Israel\u2019s insistence that it would use military force to destroy the Iranian program. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>But the stakes are arguably higher now. Iran\u2019s nuclear program \u2014 which Tehran has always maintained is for peaceful purposes, not a bomb \u2014 is more advanced, and Iranian leaders are less optimistic about the benefits of potential sanctions relief.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Back at the start of August, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.timesofisrael.com\/gantz-iran-10-weeks-away-from-amassing-enough-material-for-nuke\/\">said<\/a>&nbsp;that Iran was \u201conly around 10 weeks away from acquiring weapons-grade materials necessary for a nuclear weapon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On September 13th, The New York Times&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/09\/13\/us\/politics\/iran-nuclear-fuel-enrichment.html\">reported<\/a>&nbsp;that Iran, \u201chas come within roughly a month of having enough material to fuel a single nuclear weapon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExperts studying new data contained in reports last week by the International Atomic Energy Agency, the United Nations\u2019 atomic inspection group, say that by enriching nuclear fuel in recent months to near bomb-grade levels, Tehran has gained the capability to produce the fuel needed for a single nuclear warhead within a month or so, \u2026\u201d The Times added. \u201cA report issued on Monday by the Institute for Science and International Security, a private group that specializes in analyzing the findings of the United Nations agency, concludes that a race over the summer to enrich uranium at 60 percent purity \u2014 just below bomb grade \u2014 has put Iran in a position to produce the fuel for a single bomb in \u2018as short as one month.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/israeli-pm-naftali-bennett-warns-world-that-imminent-action-coming-against-iranian-nuclear-program\">warned<\/a> in a speech to the United Nations in late September that Israel was prepared to do whatever it takes to stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIran\u2019s nuclear weapon program is at a critical point. All red lines have been crossed. Inspections \u2014 ignored. All wishful-thinking \u2014 proven false,\u201d he said. \u201cIran is currently violating the IAEAs safeguard agreements \u2014 and it\u2019s getting away with it. They harass inspectors and sabotage their investigations \u2014 and they\u2019re getting away with it. They enrich Uranium to the level of 60 percent, which is only one step short of weapons-grade material \u2014 and they\u2019re getting away with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvidence which clearly proves Iran\u2019s intentions for nuclear weapons in secret sites in Turquzabad, Teheran &amp; Marivan \u2014 is ignored,\u201d he continued. \u201cIran\u2019s nuclear program has hit a watershed moment.
