(Photo by Rob Kim\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 11:32 AM PT \u2013 Sunday, November 28, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>A top economist has warned Joe Biden\u2019s supply chain crisis will be the main concern for the U.S. economy moving forward.<\/p>\n<p>During an interview on Sunday, Allianz Financial Group economist Mohamed El-Erian said supply chain disruptions will \u201ccontaminate\u201d consumer demand in the U.S. He added inflation isn\u2019t transitory, contrary to claims by Biden\u2019s officials, while labor shortages continue to make things worse.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, U.S. inflation rose 6.2 percent last month, marking the highest since 1990. Demand is robust today, but will it be robust in six months time?
