I thought it was extremely smart that his Super PAC has already made hires in Iowa.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>However, Nunberg identified a few \u201cdisadvantages\u201d Trump could have running, noting that, from the minute he makes the announcement, he will essentially be running a general election campaign.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe problem for Donald Trump if he announces that he\u2019s running for president, and I believe that he will, is he\u2019s going to be running a general election campaign from the day he announces,\u201d he said, noting that he could run into trouble in caucus and primary states, particularly if there is an insurgent. Another potential issue could be phony investigations, which plagued his presidency.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>LISTEN:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve never seen someone attacked the way he was. But if you talked to him, he was happy to do everything he\u2019s done for the country,\u201d Nunberg said, calling Trump a \u201cblessing to the world\u201d and citing his accomplishments, despite everything thrown at him from the day he came down the infamous escalator.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWill he have 70 percent support? 75 percent like he has now? I think he\u2019ll have a high mark. I think he\u2019ll start around 60,\u201d he predicted, adding that Trump should be watching other potential challengers such as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) and understand that he is going to have to win the early primary states and beat the media at its own game, as negative coverage could potentially \u201ccurtail\u201d his rightful place as the GOP nominee.<\/p>\n<p>Nunberg also noted that Trump was &nbsp;\u201c41,000 votes away from 270 electoral votes with Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin\u201d and briefly spoke about how America has soured on President Biden over the past 10 months, particularly after the \u201cpathetic, dangerous, showing\u201d by President Biden with the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. People are really seeing the stark contrast between the leadership of Biden and Trump, he suggested.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd when you see the staffing that Biden has, and the scariest thing is Kamala Harris, who is probably a bigger moron than Joe Biden is, they say a heartbeat, I say a quarter heartbeat, away from the presidency. So people just weren\u2019t happy about this,\u201d he said, calling the Biden opposition \u201cemblematic\u201d of the Tea Party opposition of 2009, which had a lot of independents involved.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe difference is, in fact, this is even larger,\u201d he argued, \u201cBecause it\u2019s including Democrats that are just so disgusted with the failure [and] incompetence of the Biden administration, Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer\u2019s Congress.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Breitbart News\u2019s Washington Bureau Chief, Matthew Boyle, and Nunberg discussed how crucial it is that Republicans do not reverse course and select a \u201cRomney\u201d moving forward.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The 2012 Republican nominees \u2014 Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan \u2014 Nunberg said, were the \u201cepitome of why the Republican Party was a dead man walking party.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe key is that we cannot forget that we can only win if we are the party of America. Some people would say the working class. I would say we are the party of America. There are enough classes. We don\u2019t look at it like classes. We are the party of the heartland and we are the party that cares about everyday Americans,\u201d he said, not Wall Street like \u201cPaul Ryan and Mitt Romney and Mitch McConnell too much.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re the party that cares about union members. We\u2019re the party that care about minorities\u2019 economic opportunities. We\u2019re the party that wants to take care of the military, guard our military, our rank and file warriors, from this woke leadership that is really, I think, one of Obama\u2019s lasting legacies,\u201d Nunberg said, noting that Obama turned it into a \u201csociology experiment.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>We need to win \u201call groups,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cthat is what Donald Trump was able to do.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">Nunberg credited the late Andrew Breitbart, late Rush Limbaugh, as well as Mark Levin, in being ahead of their time in&nbsp;<\/span>opposing the ideas of the old GOP &nbsp;and the idea they could \u201cout amnesty\u201d the Democrats and keep going in that direction.<\/p>\n<p>Trump, however, \u201cbrought in so many people to this party,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>If Trump does not run, he continued, Republicans need someone who can carry the mantle. Figures such as former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), and Gov. DeSantis all have different personalities, Nunberg said, but they&nbsp;all embrace America First ideals and principles.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cA party that can reach somebody in rural Pennsylvania but also reach the young African American or Hispanic that wants to start a business and actually loves their country and doesn\u2019t look down on it \u2014 &nbsp;if we do that, we will remain a strong party. If we look back and if we go the way that, let\u2019s say in my opinion, a Nikki Haley wants us to go \u2026 then yeah, we\u2019ll never win a presidential election,\u201d Nunberg said.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, he said the best option to take the White House is for \u201cDonald Trump to be the nominee,\u201d but he offered a final word of advice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnfortunately, he can\u2019t keep looking back. I know he was cheated.
