Coffey and four of his employees arrived at the residence on November 15 to put up the light display at no cost.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Dale watched longingly as the crew worked and made sure no light was out of place.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cYou could just tell that he wanted to be there. So he would just say, \u2018Hey, come here, I need this over here. I need this over here,&#8217;\u201d Coffey told CNN. \u201cHe knew to a T where everything went.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>When he saw the final result after the four-hour effort he became emotional, KCCI reports.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe thanked me, he cried a little bit, I got teary,\u201d Coffey told CNN. \u201cYou could tell how much he appreciated it, and that\u2019s what makes it worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Julie called Coffey\u2019s volunteerism a \u201cblessing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe knows it\u2019s a blessing, and this is the time of blessings and thankfulness so we are going forward and we\u2019re going to raise as much money for the food bank as we can,\u201d she told KCCI.<\/p>\n<p>Rev. Franklin Graham <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/FranklinGraham\/posts\/440048564157410\">shared<\/a>&nbsp;Dale and Julie\u2019s story on his Facebook page. Graham wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"13\">\n<p>There are so many individuals and families around us who, like Dale, have been severely impacted by Covid, some have even lost loved ones. Maybe you can step in and help with something needed or make a call to check on someone, pray for them, and encourage them.
