Version: 4.0.47--><div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1236769885-e1637770825786-640x335-1.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\" \/><\/div>\n<p class=\"subheading\">The incoming German leftist coalition government has vowed to increase immigration to Germany by allowing more migrants to bring family members to the country, a phenomenon known as chain migration.<\/p>\n<p>The coalition plan between the Social Democrats (SPD) led by incoming Chancellor Olaf Sholz, the Free Femocrats (FPD), and the Greens will radically change Germany\u2019s immigration policy, with the coalition parties agreeing to create more legal routes for migration in hopes of deterring illegal migration.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infomigrants.net\/en\/post\/36766\/new-german-government-to-introduce-sweeping-changes-to-migration-policy\">report<\/a> from the European Union-funded news website InfoMigrants, the new leftist coalition, nicknamed the \u201ctraffic light\u201d coalition, will allow not only more recognized refugees to bring family members to Germany but will allow those with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infomigrants.net\/en\/post\/33060\/what-is-the-difference-between-refugee-status-and-subsidiary-protection\">subsidiary protection<\/a> \u2014 a lesser form of refugee status typically afforded to those in jeopardy of harm if the return to their country \u2014 to do the same.<\/p>\n<p>Subsidiary protection makes up a large section of migrants who have been granted some form of residency in Germany, with figures from 2019, alone, showing that <a href=\"https:\/\/asylumineurope.org\/reports\/country\/germany\/statistics\/\">19,419 people<\/a> were given subsidiary protection compared to&nbsp;45,053 who were granted refugee status that year.<\/p>\n<p>The coalition has also agreed to make attempts to decrease asylum case waiting times, while at the same time claiming that they will work to ensure that those in Germany illegally are deported from the country.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"6.8490566037736\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Afghanistan Fallout Could Lead to Three Million Migrants Trying to Reach Europe <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ABht283ler\">https:\/\/t.co\/ABht283ler<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartLondon\/status\/1425381477391372288?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 11, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Another expected major change in Germany\u2019s migration policy is a proposal to create so-called \u201chumanitarian corridors\u201d for those fleeing their countries, such as Afghans fleeing the rule of the Taliban.<\/p>\n<p>Some have claimed that as many as<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/08\/11\/afghanistan-fallout-could-lead-to-three-million-migrants-trying-to-reach-europe\/\"> three million Afghan nationals<\/a> may attempt to reach Europe in the near future after the fall of the country to the Taliban in August.<\/p>\n<p>The coalition deal will also allow any migrants living in Germany for five years the right to a one-year residency permit as long as they have no criminal background. Some who have been in Germany for as few as three years could be eligible for German citizenship as well.<\/p>\n<p>The coalition also wants to introduce measures to allow residents to hold dual citizenship with other countries. Under the current system, those seeking German citizenship are often forced to renounce their previous citizenship, with some exceptions.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The populist anti-mass migration Alternative for Germany (AfD) slammed the immigration policies of the new coalition on Friday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.presseportal.de\/pm\/130241\/5083924\">releasing a statement<\/a> saying the proposal \u201copens the floodgates and promotes the abolition of Germany. Instead of putting a stop to illegal immigration, the coalition simply wants to legalize every possible abuse.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile our European partners are struggling to secure the EU\u2019s external border, the new German government is kicking them in the back and inviting illegal migration.
