Five years after the treatment, the effects of the hormone therapy are said to have resulted in osteoporosis and damaged the vertebrae in teen\u2019s back, Swedish broadcaster SVT <a href=\"https:\/\/www.svt.se\/nyheter\/granskning\/ug\/uppdrag-granskning-avslojar-flera-barn-har-fatt-skador-i-transvarden\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The teen\u2019s mother, Natalie told the broadcaster: \u201cHe felt so bad that he tried suicide attempts on several occasions. It can affect mental health in a way that you didn\u2019t think of and didn\u2019t want.
