Another 122,838 faced shut-offs in the counties.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Winds gusted at 67 miles-per-hour (mph) in North Hollywood and registered between 50-60 mph throughout San Fernando Valley, the <em>LA Times<\/em> reported. The warning will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Friday.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The wind did spark a fire in the San Diego suburb of Santee. Mayor of Santee John W. Minto said the fire seemed to scorch 18 acres, but authorities were able to neutralize the spread, per the <em>LA Times.<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"9.2458471760797\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Pretty scary moments in Santee today.
