Of those, 19 per cent said that they would tend to support implementing the measure, while 50 per cent responded that they would \u201cfully\u201d support the implementation of mandatory vaccination against Covid-19.<\/p>\n<p>By contrast, only 23 per cent of respondents stated that they were either partially or fully against implementing mandatory vaccination.<\/p>\n<p>The poll comes hot on the heels of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/19\/austria-unvaccinated-could-face-prison-as-country-locks-down-and-announces-vaccine-mandate\/\">announcement<\/a> that the country\u2019s German-speaking neighbour Austria will be making vaccination against the coronavirus compulsory from February next year.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Post-implementation, those who refuse to get vaccinated within Austria face fines, as well as possible imprisonment.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement quickly followed an attempt to curb Covid cases by locking down only the unvaccinated within the country, a measure which was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/15\/corona-apartheid-austria-imposes-stay-at-home-lockdown-unvaccinated\/\">slammed<\/a> as \u201cCorona Apartheid\u201d by&nbsp;Freedom Party of Austria leader and former minister for the interior, Herbert Kickl.<\/p>\n<p>The lockdown was soon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/22\/austrias-full-lockdown-begins-vaccines-mandatory-from-february-first\/\">expanded<\/a> to the entirety of the population, and is scheduled to last for 20 days for those who are vaccinated, and, according to the Austrian government, will go on in perpetuity for those who are not.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"5.7622377622378\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Unvax Tax: Expert Proposes Monthly Fines for the Unvaccinated <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Iwbyw0zu7G\">https:\/\/t.co\/Iwbyw0zu7G<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartLondon\/status\/1463809183401213958?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 25, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Several senior German officials have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/21\/germany-may-follow-austria-in-mandating-vaccines\/\">called<\/a> for similar compulsory vaccination measures to be implemented within the country.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Bavarian Prime Minister Markus S\u00f6der said that Germany \u201cwill not be able to avoid compulsory vaccination\u201d and that, without the mandate, Germany will find itself in \u201can endless loop with this corona crap\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile,&nbsp;Paula Piechotta, a member of the German Green Party, which will soon be entering government, claimed that mandatory vaccination would be less disruptive than another potential lockdown.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf we can\u2019t achieve sufficient vaccination rates on a non-mandatory basis, we have to talk about vaccine mandates, especially for people who work in vulnerable settings like nursing homes and hospitals,\u201d Piechotta said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"6.9775280898876\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u2018National Emergency\u2019 \u2014 Germany May Introduce Mandatory Vaccines as Coronavirus Cases Climb <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/OSAMlPemfR\">https:\/\/t.co\/OSAMlPemfR<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BreitbartLondon\/status\/1462516163313762305?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 21, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Social Democrat leader&nbsp;Olaf Scholz, who will soon replace the outgoing Angela Merkel as German chancellor, stated that the authoritarian measure should be considered.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s right that we have started a discussion about whether this should be done,\u201d Scholz stated regarding forced vaccination.<\/p>\n<p>The future chancellor has more recently announced that a more limited form of compulsory vaccination was on the cards for certain sectors.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.eu\/article\/germanys-scholz-eyes-vaccine-mandate-for-key-workers\/\">According to<\/a> <em>Politico<\/em>, Scholz is looking at making vaccination against the Wuhan virus mandatory for health staff, as well as other essential workers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe still haven\u2019t defeated corona.
