The newspaper claims that the situation with the police forces across part of the country is also \u201cextremely tense\u201d and officers have been threatened with consequences for not enforcing the coronavirus laws.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, Austria began a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/22\/austrias-full-lockdown-begins-vaccines-mandatory-from-february-first\/\">general lockdown<\/a> for all, regardless of vaccinations status, in an effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus after a surge in new infections after initially proposing that only unvaccinated people would be put into lockdown.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week,&nbsp;Vice President of the Lower Austrian Medical Association Gerrit Loibl suggested that to encourage people to take the vaccine, the unvaccinated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2021\/11\/25\/unvax-tax-expert-proposes-monthly-fines-for-the-unvaccinated\/\">should be fined<\/a> up to \u20ac100 (\u00a378\/$113) per month.
