In an interview with Pat McAfee, Rodgers joked that he was doing well \u201cother than the COVID toe.\u201d The <i>Journal<\/i> jumped on the phrase and told readers that \u201cCOVID toe\u201d is an actual ailment for those infected with the coronavirus who can suffer from swollen or discolored toes.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Rodgers, though, was unhappy with the <i>Journal\u2019s<\/i> characterization of his injury, according to The Wrap.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s actually called disinformation when you perpetuate false information about an individual. I have a fractured toe, so I expect a full apology,\u201d Rodger <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/aaron-rodgers-covid-toe-wall-street-journal\/\" target=\" _blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> on Wednesday during a press conference.<\/p>\n<p>Rodgers added that he had never heard of any actual ailment called \u201cCOVID toe\u201d and noted that he had no such symptoms described by the <i>Journal<\/i>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>While the <i>Wall Street Journal<\/i> did not offer any apologies, the paper did update its story to include Rodgers\u2019 revelations about his injury.<\/p>\n<p>Rodgers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/news\/packers-rodgers-says-hes-been-playing-with-fractured-toe\/\" target=\" _blank\" rel=\"noopener\">revealed<\/a> his fractured toe injury early this week but also said he intended to play through any possible pain and that he does not think it will force him to miss any games in the near term.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"4.9285714285714\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cI have a fractured toe.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/DFJJ1OF7LC\">pic.twitter.com\/DFJJ1OF7LC<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Matt Schneidman (@mattschneidman) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mattschneidman\/status\/1463598149436686341?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 24, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ll definitely look at all options over the bye and decide what would be best to make sure that I get to the finish line,\u201d Rodgers told the sports media.<\/p>\n<p>The <i>Wall Street Journal<\/i> was not the only one to heap worries on Rodgers.
