The NOS states <a href=\"https:\/\/oceanservice.noaa.gov\/facts\/bermudatri.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">on its website<\/a> there is \u201cno evidence\u201d that more \u201cmysterious disappearances\u201d take place in the Bermuda Triangle than in other \u201clarge, well-traveled\u201d areas of the ocean.<\/p>\n<p>In the Facebook post, a rusty, dilapidated ship can be seen sitting in a body of water with mountainous land in the background. Text in the image <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/historyandmystery\/posts\/419004789875594\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">alleges<\/a> the vessel was \u201clast seen in 1925, and has mysteriously reappeared after disappearing 90 years ago, in the Bermuda Triangle.\u201d It goes on to claim the ship \u201cremains intact, and afloat, and has NEVER been seen by any aircraft, or sea-going ships, in 9 decades..nor has she ever run aground.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The photo, however, was not taken in the Bermuda Triangle. Cotopaxi fully intact and floating toward the island nation 90 years after its disappearance.
