The \u201cdebriefing\u201d noted that \u201cCounseling and Psychological Services staff will be present\u201d at the event.<\/p>\n<p>The College Fix <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecollegefix.com\/cal-state-long-beach-holds-kyle-rittenhouse-verdict-debriefing-for-students\/\">reported<\/a> that the event took place online Monday afternoon, just days after Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all charges after shooting three people at riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year. Video evidence and witnesses showed that Rittenhouse only fired his weapon when his attackers chased him down the street.<\/p>\n<p>CSULB spokesman Jim Milbury told the Fix in an email that \u201cWhen there are higher-profile events and issues in the public discourse, it is not uncommon for our university to provide spaces for our campus community to discuss those topics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added that the event was \u201cunstructured\u201d was hosted by the Student Affairs Division.
