According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/biden-restart-trump-remain-mexico-49d43ad0-41d3-4e09-8fe5-a90dd62b78ea.html\">reports<\/a> Thursday, Biden plans to restore Donald Trump\u2019s policy \u201cas promptly as possible.\u201d Biden\u2019s officials also said illegal migrants will have a chance to take the COVID-19 vaccine before being returned to Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>This move comes after the \u2018Remain in Mexico\u2019 was upheld by the Supreme Court earlier this year while ruling that the Biden administration violated federal law by trying to end the Trump-era program. Republican lawmakers have repeatedly demanded the policy be reinstated.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cThose to me in their totality to any rational person would suggest to me we got a crisis that we need to work on,\u201d stated Sen.
