I missed his call,\u201d James <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/story\/_\/id\/32711509\/lebron-james-returns-suspension-says-blow-isaiah-stewart-definitely-accidental-1-game-ban-unwarranted\">told<\/a> ESPN, referring to the Lakers\u2019 vice president of basketball operations and general manager. \u201cAs soon as when I checked my phone and it was a missed call, I was like, \u2018I know I\u2019m suspended.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean, it\u2019s some bulls***,\u201d James said. \u201cBut whatever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>James was asked last night following his team\u2019s victory against the Indiana Pacers, where James got two fans thrown out of the game, about what happened during the incident with Stewart.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, what happened is, you know there\u2019s a box out on the free throw line, his elbow got kind of high, got me, if you look, watch the film, he got me off balance a little bit, and his elbow lifted my arm here,\u201d James said. \u201cAnd I basically tried to swim, move, swim down on him on his arm. And when I swing down on his arm, he got off balance and left side of my hand, you know, grazed his face, and I knew right away, so. I knew right away I had caught some part of his head, so, I went over to apologize to him. And obviously, you guys seen what happened after that, but definitely accidental.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean, just like the, you know, the play last night on Russ, accidental hit in the mouth, just like Sabonis [play] tonight, you know, accidental hit to the eye, you know, definitely I\u2019m not that type of player,\u201d he continued. \u201cSo, you know, I hate to see that where it escalated after that and I didn\u2019t think it [warranted], uh, I thought it warranted an ejection because of the, of what happened after that, you know, having me probably still in the game and the excitement from the fans, and what could possibly happen after that, obviously.
