It is not clear when the migrants would get their shots.<\/p>\n<p>Axios <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/biden-restart-trump-remain-mexico-49d43ad0-41d3-4e09-8fe5-a90dd62b78ea.html\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><em>The effectiveness of the policy will continually depend on Mexico\u2019s willingness to accept the migrants turned back. Two sources familiar with internal discussions also highlighted concerns about migrants who would be forced to travel through Mexico in the middle of the night, so they can be on time for early morning court hearings. The administration is trying to address this safety concern ahead of MPP courts reopening later on.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn compliance with the court order, we are working to reimplement MPP as promptly as possible,\u201d DHS spokesperson Marsha Espinosa claimed. \u201cWe cannot do so until we have the independent agreement from the Government of Mexico to accept those we seek to enroll in MPP. We will communicate to the court, and to the public, the timing of reimplementation when we are prepared to do so.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk ruled back in August that the Biden administration had not given ample reason for terminating the policy. The administration later appealed the decision at the Supreme Court and were again denied in their attempts to undue it.<\/p>\n<p>Six of the nine justices on the Supreme Court sided with Kacsmaryk, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/texas-defeats-biden-scotus-rules-biden-must-restart-remain-in-mexico-policy\">writing<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><em>The application for a stay presented to Justice Alito and by him referred to the Court is denied.
