I was just a 17-year-old kid.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">In a previously unaired segment from his interview with Tucker Carlson, Kyle Rittenhouse reacts to portrayals of Gaige Grosskreutz as a hero, and reveals that he was part of the \u201cYang Gang.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/uzRmSe2Tfw\">pic.twitter.com\/uzRmSe2Tfw<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Post Millennial (@TPostMillennial) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TPostMillennial\/status\/1463682017703436289?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 25, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Carlson began the segment with a comment about Gaige Grosskreutz, who was one of the three men Rittenhouse shot in self-defense during an August, 2020 riot in Kenosha, Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGaige Grosskreutz stuck a loaded gun in your face,\u201d Carlson said, noting that Grosskreutz had not been charged with any crimes pursuant to his interaction with Rittenhouse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe \u2014 I told him I was going to the police and he pointed a gun at my head. And from what I remember \u2014 time slowed down \u2014 I just remember staring down the barrel of a pistol thinking I\u2019m about to die,\u201d Rittenhouse paused and took a deep breath before continuing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe hasn\u2019t been charged with a single crime, and what\u2019s really disturbing is that his DUI case was dropped right before my trial so my attorneys couldn\u2019t ask him about it,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/rittenhouse-on-if-hes-been-watched-over-i-believe-gods-been-on-my-side-from-the-beginning\/\">Rittenhouse<\/a> continued, noting that the case had been officially closed just a week before the trial began.<\/p>\n<p>Carlson went on to ask Rittenhouse whether he was surprised to see legacy media outlets painting Grosskreutz as \u201ca hero.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t see him as \u2014 In my opinion, there\u2019s no winners in this case, there\u2019s no heroes in this case. I defended myself, I was attacked,\u201d Rittenhouse replied, adding, \u201cI think it\u2019s actually quite sickening how Mr. Huber and Mr. Grosskreutz are described as heroes when it\u2019s on video that they attempted to murder me in the middle of the street.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo what\u2019s the message you think the media are sending by describing them as heroes?\u201d Carlson asked.<\/p>\n<p>Rittenhouse said that the message he got was that \u201cthey\u2019re saying&nbsp;you can go out and riot and attack anybody and you will have the support from the media and the politicians to do whatever you want and kill innocent people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/tucker-a-rapist-called-joseph-rosenbaum-died-as-he-had-lived-trying-to-touch-an-unwilling-minor\/\">Carlson<\/a> pivoted to politics then, asking Rittenhouse whether he had had any interest in politics before the protests, the shootings and the subsequent trial.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going to get a lot of hate for this, but I was a pretty big Andrew Yang supporter before all this,\u201d Rittenhouse said, prompting a loud laugh from Carlson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWere you really? You were part of the Yang Gang?\u201d he asked. \u201cI like Yang.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was part of the Yang Gang. He\u2019s a good dude,\u201d Rittenhouse said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wasn\u2019t really into politics. I didn\u2019t know much about Trump. I didn\u2019t know much about Biden. I went to a Trump rally because Trump supports the police. He\u2019s a businessman. That\u2019s what I liked about Trump. I didn\u2019t know much about politics.
