Last year on Thanksgiving, the price was $2.116.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>From October, the national average price of gas has increased about one cent. The pipeline may be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/09\/steve-scalise-house-republicans-biden-shutdown-oil-pipeline\/\">canceled<\/a> over what Indian tribes called an \u201cexistential threat&nbsp;to [their] treaty-protected rights, resources, and fundamental way of life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI)&nbsp;has&nbsp;already \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metrotimes.com\/news-hits\/archives\/2021\/11\/05\/michigan-tribes-send-letter-to-biden-asking-him-to-back-line-5-shutdown\">revoked and terminated<\/a>\u201d the pipeline\u2019s easement and demanded the line be shut down by springtime.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, Biden has allowed Russia to enlarge its oil exports to Europe by building a pipeline from Russia to Germany.
