The troops <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfmz.com\/news\/good-news\/national-guard-troops-reunited-with-families-in-des-moines-just-in-time-for-the-holidays\/article_3d32e37e-4df2-11ec-b66f-970d01ea584f.html\">served<\/a> in areas ranging from Afghanistan to Saudi Arabia, WFMZ reported.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Jessica Dewey and her baby boy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kcci.com\/article\/iowa-national-guard-members-come-home-in-time-for-thanksgiving\/38336927\">welcomed<\/a> home the infant\u2019s father. The two had not yet met.<\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAnd he has not seen his father until this moment?\u201d a KCCI reporter asked Dewey.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cNo, this is the first time,\u201d the mother responded as she was clearly overcome with emotion.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p><span>\u201cAnd what\u2019s going through your mind?\u201d the reporter followed up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cA lot of emotions,\u201d Jessica responded.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jessica and her love shared a long kiss once they were reunited.<\/p>\n<p><span>Laura Sanderson welcomed home her husband and son, who were deployed together. Both of her daughters serve in the Iowa National Guard as well.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI\u2019m going to have all five of them under one roof. It\u2019s been about two years since that\u2019s happened, so I\u2019m very excited about that,\u201d Sanderson told Fox 17. \u201cI have three children serving and a husband and son that just got home \u2013 they were together. So, I\u2019m very happy to have them all home\u2026 more than blessed.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Cindy Dennis was overjoyed to welcome her son home.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI\u2019m overwhelmed. He\u2019s home finally; it\u2019s the most amazing thing,\u201d Dennis told KCCI.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThis is great.
