O\u2019Connor revealed Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cbenign appearing 3 mm polyp\u201d was removed from the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/23\/joe-biden-strategic-petroleum-reserve-critics-gas-prices\/\">president\u2019s<\/a> colon and appeared to be similar to one that he had removed in 2008, according to a memorandum written by O\u2019Connor and dated for Tuesday. Testing revealed the polyp \u201cas a tubular adenoma,\u201d according to the physician.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Connor recommended Biden get another colonoscopy in seven to 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>The procedure, which White House press secretary previously described as \u201croutine,\u201d required the president to be put under anesthesia. Bush had the same procedure in 2002 and 2007, and following the process set out in the Constitution, President Biden will transfer power to the Vice President for the brief period of time when he is under anesthesia. The Vice President will work from her office in the West Wing during this time,\u201d Psaki said at the time.<\/p>\n<div id=\"\/10519169\/dailycaller_inline1\" class=\"ad\" readability=\"11.796033994334\">O\u2019Connor issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/19\/joe-biden-annual-physical-fit-to-execute-duties-presidency-walter-reed\/\">report<\/a> following Biden\u2019s physical and declared him to be a \u201chealthy, vigorous, 78-year old\u201d who is \u201cfit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency.\u201d The physical came after periodic questions from members of the press as to the date of his upcoming exam.
