That includes 90 percent of Republicans, 79 percent of independents, and 69 percent of Democrats:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote readability=\"8\">\n<p>In addition to the nearly 8 in 10 Americans who now say inflation is affecting them personally (37 percent \u201ca great deal\u201d; 40 percent \u201csome\u201d), more than 6 in 10 (61 percent) say the same about \u201cshortages of goods and services\u201d (17 percent \u201ca great deal\u201d; 44 percent \u201csome\u201d).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>What is more, 57 percent, overall, directly blame President Biden. Respondents also identified inflation as the \u201cmost important issue facing America,\u201d even more so than the Chinese coronavirus.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Per <a href=\"https:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/poll-77-percent-of-americans-now-say-inflation-is-personally-affecting-them-and-57-percent-blame-biden-210739716.html\">Yahoo! News<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"11.400911161731\">\n<p>These results explain in part why the president\u2019s overall approval rating has steadily declined to 43 percent in recent months while his disapproval rating has risen to 52 percent \u2014 and why, on the economy, Biden\u2019s approval rating is even lower (40 percent).<\/p>\n<p>Since last October, overall prices have soared 6.2 percent amid <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/11\/14\/business\/economy\/farm-exports-supply-chain-ports.html\">supply-chain bottlenecks and sky-high demand for goods<\/a> \u2014 the fastest yearly pace in more than three decades.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The survey, taken November 17-19, 2021, among 1,696 adults, has a margin of error of +\/-&nbsp;2.6 percent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBidenflation\u201d has&nbsp;had a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/22\/bidenflation-26-of-americans-say-economy-is-top-concern-highest-since-pandemic-struck\/\">devastating<\/a>, rippling effect across the country, as it is causing well-known companies to drastically raise their prices. Dollar Tree, for example, has raised prices by 25 percent.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe experienced a strong finish to the quarter, as shoppers are increasingly focused on value in this inflationary environment,\u201d President and CEO Michael Witynski <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/23\/bidenflation-causes-dollar-tree-to-raise-prices-by-25-percent-to-1-25\/\">said<\/a> in a statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"8\">\n<p>Our Dollar Tree pricing tests have demonstrated broad consumer acceptance of the new price point and excitement about the additional offerings and extreme value we will be able to provide. Accordingly, we have begun rolling out the $1.25 price point at all Dollar Tree stores nationwide.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Similarly, General Mills <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/23\/report-general-mills-will-raise-prices-up-to-20-percent-in-january\/\">announced<\/a> this month that it will raise prices on a variety of goods by about 20 percent, come mid-January.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s RealClearPolitics (RCP) average is currently underwater, with 53.1 percent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/\">disapproving<\/a> and 41.6 percent approving.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Most Americans say inflation is negatively affecting them and blame President Biden, a\u00a0Yahoo News\/YouGov poll released this week found.
