Brooks Jr. allegedly plowed an SUV through the parade route, killing six and injuring over forty more.<\/p>\n<p>As of 2:25 p.m. on Wednesday, some $1,355,141 was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/c\/act\/waukesha-christmas-parade-fundraisers\">raised<\/a> in total between 22 different verified GoFundMe accounts. The accounts aim to raise donations for hospital expenses, funeral costs, and more.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Brooks, 39, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/crime\/2021\/11\/23\/waukesha-attack-suspect-darrell-brooks-charged-bail-set-at-5-million\/\">arrested<\/a> for allegedly carrying out Sunday\u2019s mayhem and on Tuesday was charged with five counts of first-degree intentional homicide, Breitbart News reported.<\/p>\n<p>Waukesha County District Attorney Susan Opper <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/news\/waukesha-wis-parade-crash-death-toll-rises-to-six-suspect-appears-in-court\/\">announced<\/a> she intends to file an additional charge of intentional homicide following the death of 8-year-old Jackson Sparks, who, on Tuesday, succumbed to injuries he sustained at Sunday\u2019s parade, according to UPI.<\/p>\n<p>The deceased victims from the Christmas Parade attack include:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>1.) Wilhelm Hospel, age 81<\/p>\n<p>2.) Virginia \u201cGinny\u201d Sorenson, age 79<\/p>\n<p>3.)&nbsp;LeAnna Owen, age 71<\/p>\n<p>4.) Tamara Durand, age 52<\/p>\n<p>5.) Jane Kulich, age 52<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>6.) Jackson Sparks, age 8<\/p>\n<p>Judge Kevin Costello set Brooks\u2019s bail at $5 million, stating the defendant is a flight risk as he has repeatedly broken laws and ignored court orders in the past, according to UPI.<\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI have not seen anything like this in my very long career,\u201d Costello stated.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <em>Milwaukee Journal Sentinel<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/22\/report-waukesha-parade-massacre-suspect-darrell-brooks-jr-ran-over-woman-weeks-ago\/\">reports<\/a> that earlier this month, Brooks was charged with attempting to run a woman over and was released from custody on a $1000 bond:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"21\">\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Darrell Brooks Jr., the man suspected of being the driver, has been charged three times in less than two years with recklessly endangering the safety of others, most recently on Nov. 5 as part of a domestic abuse incident for which he was also charged with resisting or obstructing an officer. In the case this month,&nbsp;a woman told police Brooks purposefully ran her \u201cover with his vehicle\u201d while she was walking through a gas station parking lot after he had followed her there after a fight, according to the criminal complaint. The woman was hospitalized for her injuries, court records show.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Brooks posted $1,000 bond on Nov. 11 in the most recent incident and was released from Milwaukee County Jail on Nov. 16, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff\u2019s Office.
