For those with no specific party affiliation, 61.8% said they would rather host Rogan.<\/p>\n<p>Among Democratic voters, however, a large majority (83.1%) said they would prefer to host Dr. Fauci.<\/p>\n<p>Joe Rogan was overwhelmingly popular among poll participants between the ages of 18 and 24-years-old, with 75.9% of that age category preferring to host Rogan. Dr. Fauci was more popular among all other age categories except for 35 to 44-year-olds, who preferred Rogan by just 59.6% to 40.4%.<\/p>\n<p>Rogan famously contracted COVID-19 earlier this year, and received condemnation from the media establishment after announcing his treatment regimen, which included Ivermectin, monoclonal antibodies, prednisone and a vitamin drip.<\/p>\n<p>Rogan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/joe-rogan-floats-suing-cnn-for-claiming-he-took-horse-dewormer\">later floated<\/a> taking CNN to court after a high-profile reporter for the network falsely claimed on air that Rogan took horse dewormer to treat COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo I have to sue CNN? They\u2019re making s*** up. They keep saying I took horse dewormer. I literally got it from a doctor. It\u2019s an American company. They won the Nobel Prize in 2015 for use in human beings, and CNN is saying I\u2019m taking horse dewormer,\u201d Rogan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3O_7O9_nV10\">said<\/a> on his podcast. \u201cThey must know that\u2019s a lie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rogan aired his grievance with the network after CNN chief domestic correspondent and anchor Jim Acosta falsely claimed that Rogan was taking a livestock dewormer and other unproven treatments to deal with COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe podcast host Joe Rogan, he came down with COVID. He says he\u2019s been taking the livestock dewormer ivermectin as well as other treatments that people talk about on the internet and so on. Doesn\u2019t have any effect on COVID, obviously,\u201d Acosta said during an interview with Dr. Fauci.<\/p>\n<p>Rogan, host of \u201cThe Joe Rogan Experience,\u201d had announced over his Instagram page that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and was undergoing a variety of different treatments. Rogan\u2019s video announcement set off a wave of misinformation among journalists and others about ivermectin, an anti-parasitic drug that is used to treat both humans and livestock.<\/p>\n<p>Rogan said that \u201cmultiple doctors\u201d recommended he take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. \u201cThey try to make it seem like I\u2019m doing some wacky s*** that\u2019s completely ineffective and CNN was saying that I\u2019m a distributor of misinformation,\u201d Rogan said.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with CNN\u2019s Sanjay Gupta, Rogan asked, \u201cWhy would they lie and say that\u2019s horse dewormer?
