Travis McMichael was found guilty Wednesday of malice murder for shooting and killing Arbery in February 2020, while his father Gregory and neighbor Bryan were found guilty of felony murder for helping to chase and trap Arbery with their trucks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAhmaud Arbery\u2019s killing \u2013 witnessed by the world on video \u2013 is a devastating reminder of how far we have to go in the fight for racial justice in this country,\u201d Biden said. \u201cMr. Arbery should be here today, celebrating the holidays with his mother, Wanda Cooper Jones, and his father, Marcus Arbery. Nothing can bring Mr. Arbery back to his family and to his community, but the verdict ensures that those who committed this horrible crime will be punished.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" readability=\"9.7565217391304\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Pres.
