Chief investment officer at Hayman Capital, Kyle Bass said Tuesday that Biden\u2019s release of 50 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is \u201ca quick shot of morphine for a major infection.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">But it\u2019s this kind of childish thinking that will compromise US National Security and harm the poor and underserved. Bass also said the world consumes some 100 million barrels per day and Biden\u2019s release of 50 million does nothing at all.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cYou see Biden at OPEC, begging them for more production,\u201d explained the investment officer. \u201cAt the same time, he\u2019s saying no more interstate pipelines, no more drilling federal lands.
