His foot is not visible in the picture posted by the White House due to the length of the grass.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Instagram post features a screen grab of a picture depicting Biden walking on the White House lawn that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CWHBKWbgHV8\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=1dd380f5-77a0-42ea-ab89-f2893f66701a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">verified White House Instagram account<\/a> shared Nov. 10. In the photo, one of Biden\u2019s feet is not visible among the grass, which the Instagram user <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CWkeSxjLVp1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">alleges<\/a> in the caption is because Biden \u201cwas never there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo here is a picture I caught before the White House page took it down,\u201d reads the caption of the post making the claim. \u201cWHERE IS BIDEN FEET? Biden was never there they green screen him \u2018photoshop him\u2019 because the world is all a big stage\u2026\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/11\/17\/fact-check-joe-biden-nike-foamposite-sneakers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Image Show Joe Biden Wearing Nike Foamposite Sneakers?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For starters, contrary to the viral claim, the White House <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CWHBKWbgHV8\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=1dd380f5-77a0-42ea-ab89-f2893f66701a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">has not deleted<\/a> the Nov. 10 Instagram post, as of the time of publication. The picture was taken as Biden \u201cexits the White House to depart for the Port of Baltimore where he will deliver remarks on how the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal will upgrade our nation\u2019s ports and strengthen supply chains,\u201d according to the White House\u2019s description of it. The president did indeed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ao7EQeqa8Q8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">give a speech<\/a> at the Port of Baltimore on Nov. 10, his <a href=\"https:\/\/factba.se\/biden\/calendar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">public schedule<\/a> available on Factba.se shows.<\/p>\n<p>There is also no indication Biden was photoshopped into the image. Rather, the length of the grass appears to be causing his foot to look like it is \u201cmissing.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/president-joe-biden-departs-the-white-house-on-november-10-news-photo\/1352492552?adppopup=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Another picture<\/a>, taken by photographer Win McNamee for Getty Images, that captures Biden\u2019s departure from the White House that day more clearly shows that the grass made Biden\u2019s feet not visible as he walked through it due to the lawn\u2019s length.<\/p>\n<p>ABC News also posted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/WorldNewsTonight\/videos\/888180511844024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">footage<\/a> Biden\u2019s walk across the South Lawn to the helicopter during his Nov. 10 departure from the White House. In that video, Biden\u2019s shoes can be seen sinking in and out of view in the grass with each step he took.<\/p>\n<p>Check Your Fact <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/03\/19\/fact-check-video-joe-biden-exchange-green-screen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">previously debunked<\/a> a viral claim about a video supposedly showing Biden staging a March 16 interaction with reporters using a green screen.
