He wants to be the Kim Jong-Un, the Vladimir Putin\u201d of the United States of America.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, he said, Trump will not stop insisting that he won the 2020 presidential election against Joe Biden, because his goal \u201cis to convince you that he won the election, and he\u2019s done that with this percentage of Americans that are so deep into the cult of Trump \u2014 and trust me, I know about the cult of Trump. I was one of its leaders, maybe one of its founders. At the time, Capital University law professor Bradley A. Smith said the charges Cohen copped to were not a crime. \u201cThere is no violation of the Federal Election Campaign Act,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2018\/12\/michael-cohen-sentencing-campaign-finance-law\/\">wrote<\/a> Smith at National Review. \u201cWe do ourselves no service by distorting and misapplying our campaign-finance laws in the hope of bagging Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last May Cohen was placed on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/michael-cohen-finally-released-from-prison-amid-coronavirus-concerns\">house arrest<\/a>, becoming one of the numerous <a href=\"https:\/\/stream.org\/the-great-coronavirus-jailbreak\/\">convicts released from the nation\u2019s prison<\/a> system, purportedly to prevent the spread of COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>Cohen\u2019s promise that he would offer valuable information on the Trump Organization that would result in high-level indictments, prosecutions, and possibly convictions has not come to fruition. \u201cI talked about how all of this stemmed from the hush-money payments to Stephanie Clifford, known as Stormy Daniels, and Karen McDougal.&nbsp;You were the only person prosecuted for the hush-money payments. How do you explain that?\u201d asked Camerota. \u201cIf you have been providing valuable and legitimate information to the investigators, what is taking so long\u201d to charge anyone else of a crime?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can\u2019t explain this,\u201d replied Cohen. \u201cBut I make this promise, I may have been prosecuted, and right now I am the only one, but I will not be the only one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cohen said part of the difficulty in charging Trump stems from the fact that the president used \u201ccode\u201d language, like saying \u201cCoke\u201d to refer to Coke. \u201cHe\u2019ll never tell you, go get me a Coke.
