The letter was shared with&nbsp;CNN Business \u201con the condition of anonymity to protect the company\u2019s relationship with its suppliers.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>A company leader told CNN Business that General Mills will pass along the increase of costs to the&nbsp;grocery and convenience stores, which will inevitably pass it on to customers.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the company\u2019s rising prices will include brands such as&nbsp;Annie\u2019s, Progresso, Yoplait, Fruit Roll-Ups, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Wheaties, Reese\u2019s Puffs, and Trix, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>The letter from&nbsp;General Mills indicated that the rising cost of goods was in response to the higher cost of materials and labor.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe current operating environment is as dynamic as we\u2019ve experienced in at least a decade, resulting in significant input cost inflation, labor shortages, and challenges servicing the business,\u201d General Mills said.<\/p>\n<p>General Mills, in September, reportedly said that it already expected its&nbsp;input cost inflation to be between seven and eight percent during the 2022 fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p>General Mills is the latest company to announce its prices will rise next year, indicating that the issue of rising prices across the country is not going away soon.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/10\/19\/procter-gamble-raising-prices-on-consumer-staples-as-shortages-and-bidenflation-bite\/\">Procter &amp; Gamble<\/a>,&nbsp;Tysons, and Kraft Heinz have also announced price hikes, which will affect middle-class families. Earlier in November, the&nbsp;Department of Labor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/10\/bidenflation-for-breakfast-milk-cereal-bacon-eggs-muffins-juice-and-coffee-prices-soar\/\">released<\/a> data that showed nearly every price for breakfast items such as whole milk, eggs, bacon, juice, and coffee also rose sharply compared to last year.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CNN Business <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2021\/05\/13\/economy\/inflation-lower-income-households\/index.html\">noted<\/a> that \u201crising inflation does not impact all shoppers equally,\u201d indicating that it affects&nbsp;low-income Americans more, since they are \u201cmore exposed to the goods that are seeing prices rise the fastest, such as gas and rent, and they save less than higher-income groups.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMiddle-class families are getting hosed as inflation set off by trillions in wasteful spending continues to make life less affordable than ever,\u201d said Congressional Leadership Fund Communications Director Calvin Moore. \u201cBut even as costs rise out of control, Democrats want to pour gasoline on the fires<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>of inflation with trillions for their far-left political agenda, no matter the cost to working Americans.\u201d<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;House Democrats recently passed the infrastructure bill \u2014 which was ultimately&nbsp;signed into law by President Joe Biden \u2014 and passed the&nbsp;$1.75 trillion <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/19\/house-passes-behemoth-build-back-better-act\/\">Build Back Better Act<\/a>, the Democrats\u2019 reconciliation infrastructure bill.<\/p>\n<p>The second infrastructure bill is considered to be the \u201cmarquee legislation\u201d&nbsp;for Biden\u2019s legislative agenda and was recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/18\/cbo-build-back-better-act-adds-750-billion-to-deficit-over-five-years\/\">revealed<\/a> to be&nbsp;adding&nbsp;$750 billion to the American&nbsp;deficit over five years, according to the&nbsp;Congressional Budget Office (CBO).<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, a recent CBS\/YouGov poll <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/21\/poll-67-americans-disapprove-bidens-handling-economy\/\">showed<\/a> that a majority (61 percent) of Americans disapprove of Biden\u2019s handling of the economy and are&nbsp;feeling the effects of Biden\u2019s struggling economy.&nbsp;<i><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Jacob Bliss is a reporter for Breitbart News.
