Accordingly, we have begun rolling out the $1.25 price point at all Dollar Tree stores nationwide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The price increases are a result of \u201cmerchandise cost increases,\u201d the company announced, which includes jammed supply chain points that have contributed to Biden\u2019s inflation:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"9\">\n<p>The new price point will enable&nbsp;Dollar Tree&nbsp;to return to its historical gross margin range by mitigating historically-high merchandise cost increases, including freight and distribution costs, as well as higher operating costs.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Inflation has pushed up many consumer prices as well as the prices paid by companies for the goods they sell. Dollar Tree, like many public companies, is under pressure from investors to hike prices to preserve profit margins in the face of escalating costs.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe Company believes this is the appropriate time to shift away from the constraints of the&nbsp;$1.00&nbsp;price point in order to continue offering extreme value to customers,\u201d the company said. \u201cThis decision is permanent and is not a reaction to short-term or transitory market conditions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dollar Tree is not the only company struggling with Bidenflation. Retail prices have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/16\/retail-sales-jump-higher-than-expected-in-october-as-bidenflation-pushed-prices-up\/\">increased<\/a>, home prices have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/22\/exisitng-home-sales-unexpectedly-climb-despite-high-and-rising-prices\/\">risen<\/a>, food costs have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/22\/carney-inflation-is-so-high-that-now-they-want-us-to-eat-soy-for-thanksgiving\/\">skyrocketed<\/a>, and energy prices have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/16\/bidenflation-winter-heating-prices-set-to-soar-even-if-temperatures-stay-warm\/\">escalated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, wages for the American worker have decreased. Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/11\/bidneflation-wages\/\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"16\">\n<p>Bosses paid an average of 0.4 percent more per hour in October but prices paid by wage earners rose by 1.1 percent, pushing down real wages.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s more, because weekly hours fell 0.3 percent, average weekly earnings decreased by 1.0 percent after adjusting for inflation.<\/p>\n<p>Compared with a year ago, inflation-adjusted hourly earnings fell 1.1 percent and weekly earnings fell 1.4 percent.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Biden\u2019s answer to inflation has been pumping more money into the economy. Last week, Biden signed the $1.2 trillion so-called \u201cinfrastructure\u201d bill into law after spending trillions more in the spring via the coronavirus relief package.
