The teen claimed self-defense.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing in a teaser clip for a documentary from Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Rittenhouse said after the acquittal that the jury \u201creached the right verdict.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSelf-defense is not illegal, and I believe they came to the correct verdict, and I\u2019m glad that everything went well,\u201d the teen asserted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a rough journey, but we made it through it. Last year, he got into college at Arizona State, and he\u2019s very proud of it.
