Prior to the acquittal, some social media users began sharing an image of Binger wearing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etsy.com\/listing\/841856497\/silver-black-lives-matter-enamel-lapel?ga_order=most_relevant&amp;ga_search_type=all&amp;ga_view_type=gallery&amp;ga_search_query=black+lives+matter+pin&amp;ref=sr_gallery-1-2&amp;bes=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Black Lives Matter pin<\/a> and another heart-shaped pin displaying what looks like the transgender <a href=\"https:\/\/grpride.org\/product\/transgender-pride-flag\/#:~:text=The%20Transgender%20Pride%20Flag%20was,one%20white%20in%20the%20center.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pride flag<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The picture, however, is doctored, a reverse image search by Check Your Fact found. In the original photo, which was published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenoshanews.com\/news\/local\/crime-and-courts\/defense-expert-sticks-to-self-defense-theory-says-rittenhouse-justified-in-use-of-weapon\/article_52bc0f25-386e-503d-8489-cdef6376bff3.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kenosha News<\/a> on Oct. 6, Binger has only one black-and-white pin that displays the silhouette of a man smoking a pipe and wearing a deerstalker hat. That imagery is sometimes linked to British writer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arthurconandoyle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sir Arthur Conan Doyle\u2019s<\/a> well-known character <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smithsonianmag.com\/arts-culture\/the-deerstalker-where-sherlock-holmes-popular-image-came-from-7325976\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sherlock Holmes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAssistant District Attorney Thomas Binger listens during Kyle Rittenhouse\u2019s motion hearing on Tuesday,\u201d reads the image\u2019s description. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2020\/10\/16\/fact-check-charges-kyle-rittenhouse-kenosha-dropped\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Have All Charges Against Kyle Rittenhouse Been Dropped?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The photo shared on Twitter has been altered to include the other two pins.
