It was made a political case.&nbsp;This had nothing to do with race,\u201d and that if he had been convicted, \u201cno one would ever be privileged to defend their life against attackers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rittenhouse said, [relevant remarks begin around 7:05] \u201cI\u2019ve never seen something so polarizing in my life. When it\u2019s just \u2014 it\u2019s obvious self-defense, if you look at the case, you look at the facts, no matter what your opinion is, or where you stand [on] it. This isn\u2019t a \u2014 this wasn\u2019t a political case. It shouldn\u2019t have been a political case. It was made a political case.
