Tony Evers (D) \u201cfailed the community\u201d in Kenosha and that the police in the city didn\u2019t get the support they required, \u201cand there should have been a lot more resources to help with that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rittenhouse said [relevant remarks begin around 4:40] that he approached the owners of the car lot that he was protecting and asked them if they needed help, and they said they did.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Host Tucker Carlson then asked, \u201cWhere were the police?\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Rittenhouse answered, \u201cI\u2019m not sure really. Because they have a hard job. But I didn\u2019t really think they got the support they needed. The National Guard should have been called\u2026but the city of Kenosha failed their \u2014 the community.
