He betrayed our families.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Justin Blake\u2019s nephew, Jacob Blake, drew national attention during a domestic disturbance in August 2020 after police officers shot him while he reached back into his vehicle. The shooting left Jacob Blake paralyzed and led to nights of rioting on the streets of Kenosha. During one of the riots, Kyle Rittenhouse shot three people \u2014 killing two \u2014 after rioters attacked him. A jury found Rittenhouse not guilty on all counts on Friday.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>During the protest, speakers gathered around the banner of the&nbsp;Party for Socialism and Liberation. Justin Blake addressed the crowd of about 50 and told them, \u201cPresident Biden sold us out. He betrayed our families. He betrayed the people behind us. He did nothing for us and then goes on his way to the White House.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhere has he been for the [George] Floyd family?\u201d Justin continued. \u201cNothing\u2019s been done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In September 2020, then-candidate Joe Biden visited Jacob Blake\u2019s family in Milwaukee, Breitbart\u2019s Joel Pollak <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/09\/03\/joe-biden-meets-with-blake-family-including-antisemitic-racist-father\/\">reported<\/a>. During the meeting, Biden spoke with Jacob Blake and later said,&nbsp;\u201cHe talked about how nothing was going to defeat him, how whether he walked again or not he was not going to give up,\u201d Breitbart <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/news\/joe-biden-says-theres-a-chance-for-real-awakening-during-visit-to-kenosha\/\">reported<\/a>. \u201cFear doesn\u2019t solve problems. Only hope does. If you give up hope, you might as well surrender. There\u2019s no other option.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>At the time of the shooting, Blake had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/08\/28\/jacob-blake-handcuffed-hospital-bed-due-active-arrest-warrant-police-say\/\">open warrants<\/a> for his arrest on charges related to sexual assault, criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n<p>Justin Blake concluded his remarks with a demand to be allowed to visit the White House. \u201cWe want somebody to explain to us, why does this continue to happen and what the hell they gonna do about it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Blake then led a march through some of the downtown streets where rioting, looting, and arson took place last summer.
