James Comer (R-KY) reacted to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/21\/report-hunter-biden-profited-joe-biden-losing-energy-race-communist-china\/\">report<\/a> that&nbsp;Hunter Biden, son of President Joe Biden, profited from helping a Chinese firm acquire&nbsp;cobalt mines from an American company.<\/p>\n<p>Comer said on FNC\u2019s \u201cFox &amp; Friends First\u201d that the younger Biden \u201cwill be a top priority for House Republicans\u201d when the GOP flips the House in 2022. He added it was \u201cvery troubling\u201d how Democrats don\u2019t question Hunter Biden\u2019s business dealings.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI can promise you this \u2014 Hunter Biden will be a top priority for House Republicans on the House Oversight Committee when we flip the House in 2022 and start in January of 2023,\u201d Comer declared. \u201cWe all know Hunter Biden is a walking, talking conflict of interest. But I\u2019ve been saying for months that Hunter Biden is a national security threat, and this is further proof. The fact that he continues to peddle influence to foreign nationals is concerning.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>He continued, \u201cBut when you look at the implications for national security, one of the things that Joe Biden is trying to do, he\u2019s making no secret about it, he\u2019s trying to convert all of our vehicles to electric, and he\u2019s trying to make our military green. And to do this, you have to have cobalt in those batteries, and the biggest threat to our national security now from China is the fact that they can control \u2026 the electric vehicle battery market, and this gives them more of an advantage in cornering that market.
