Text accompanying the photos reads, \u201cHamilton County Justice Center , **Cincinnati OH.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While the prison in Cincinnati does exist, a reverse image search reveals none of the pictures included in the post, except for one, were taken at the jail. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2019\/07\/09\/fact-check-photos-detention-centers-children-crowded-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Viral Photos Of Crowded Detention Centers Were Not Taken During The Trump Administration)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Two of the photos were taken at hotels built inside of former prisons. The photo of the lobby with the chandelier and sofas shows the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hetarresthuis.nl\/en\/meeting-rooms\/our-meetingrooms\/rooms-overview\/de-galerij\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Het Arresthuis<\/a>, a hotel in the Netherlands that was built in an old detention center, according to the hotel\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hetarresthuis.nl\/en\/about-us\/history\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a>. The building\u2019s cell block is now called \u201cThe Gallery\u201d and is host to wedding receptions, parties and dinners, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hetarresthuis.nl\/en\/meeting-rooms\/our-meetingrooms\/rooms-overview\/de-galerij\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a> explains. The picture of the jail cell bedroom is a hotel room available for rent at the <a href=\"https:\/\/langholmen.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Langholmen in Sweden<\/a>, where guests can stay overnight in some of the renovated cells of the old Crown Prison, according to the hotel\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/langholmen.com\/en\/hotel\/hotel-rooms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The photo of the arcade was pulled from the <a href=\"https:\/\/bowlmidland.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Midland Family Bowl<\/a> website, which explains Midland is a bowling alley in Fort Smith, Arkansas, that has an arcade, snack bar and a bowling rink. As for the dining room, the photo was <a href=\"https:\/\/m.facebook.com\/CabanaBayResort\/photos\/something-tells-us-youre-going-to-love-bayliner-diner-httpbitlybaylinerdiner\/1699336640215648\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">shared<\/a> on Facebook in July 2020 by Universal\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universalorlando.com\/web\/en\/us\/places-to-stay\/universals-cabana-bay-beach-resort\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cabana Bay Beach Resort<\/a> in Orlando, Florida, and shows the resort\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universalorlando.com\/web\/en\/us\/things-to-do\/dining\/bayliner-diner?fbclid=IwAR2Lqn-ix53lSzg5zPZcsm7D4jOKPt5y3StWi0jQ3jKltQDyNKeaWfr0wd0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bayliner Diner<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The indoor basketball court photo was taken from the website of <a href=\"https:\/\/walkerhomedesign.com\/faqs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Walker Home Design<\/a>, a Utah-based company that designs custom homes, where it is listed as one of the company\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/walkerhomedesign.com\/fun-spaces-gallery\/basketball-gym-gallery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fun spaces<\/a>.\u201d Finally, the photo of the indoor space with the staircase was taken inside Simmons Hall at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as can be seen on the university\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/mitguidetoresidences.mit.edu\/map\/simmons-hall\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Guide To Residences<\/a>\u201d webpage.<\/p>\n<p>The only picture that does show Hamilton County Justice Center is the one showing the exterior of the building, which can be found on the Hamilton County Municipal Court Help Center\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/eviction.cincyhelpcenter.org\/defend-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a>. A real photo of the inside of Hamilton County Justice Center can be seen in a 2019 article published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wvxu.org\/local-news\/2019-09-27\/hamilton-county-justice-center-debuts-one-stop-resource-center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">91.7 WVXU<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not sure if this post was made as satire, but the only accurate photo is the one of the exterior of the Hamilton County Justice Center,\u201d confirmed Kyla Woods, a spokesperson for the Hamilton County Sheriff\u2019s Office, in an email to Check Your Fact.<\/p>\n<p>While Hamilton County Justice Center is not equipped with the luxuries depicted in the Facebook post, local authorities have taken steps to improve the prison\u2019s facilities.
