(AP Photo\/Patrick Semansky)\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">AP Photo\/Patrick Semansky<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Biden\u2019s Twitter account <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/09\/30\/joe-biden-claims-without-evidence-kyle-rittenhouse-is-a-white-supremacist\/\">framed<\/a> Rittenhouse as belonging to \u201cwhite supremacists\u201d in September 2020, about one month after Rittenhouse shot at men attacking him during left-wing riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Pierce noted the baselessness of characterizing Rittenhouse as a \u201cwhite supremacist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He remarked, \u201cThere was never a shred of evidence or indication or suggestion or anything that Kyle was racist or a white supremacist, and obviously, those kind of accusations are being hurled around at everyone all the time these days, and it\u2019s got to stop, and so hopefully, this is an instance in which Kyle will file numerous defamation claims, including against the sitting president&nbsp;and that campaign, which could probably include the sitting vice president.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cI think [Rittenhouse] should win that because try to&nbsp;imagine a situation that\u2019s worse in terms of destroying somebody\u2019s reputation than a presidential candidate in what is arguably one of \u2014 if not the most \u2014 heated presidential campaign, ever, directly calling someone who\u2019s in the middle of this kind of criminal prosecution a \u2018white supremacist,\u2019 which not only is untrue, [but] will destroy one\u2019s reputation and make it very difficult to have a fair trial.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cThe jury saw through everything and gave that \u201cnot guilty\u201d verdict, which is absolutely correct. I believe that the president, the vice president, and the campaign have legal exposure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pierce observed the left-wing political dimensions of the prosecution of Rittenhouse.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cT<span>his case should never have been brought,\u201d he stated. \u201cN<\/span><span>ot in a million years. It\u2019s an ancient, God-given right.
